SNAP - Spay Neuter Assistance Programme (individual)

Every year many thousands of unwanted animals are born in Hong Kong. Some of these litters are the result of accidental matings by unneutered pets. To prevent this problem, the SPCA advocates that all pets should be neutered. Neutering also can have added health benefits.

IF YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO DESEX YOUR PET, SPCA MAY BE ABLE TO HELP

The SPCA realises that pet owners who want to desex their pets may not have the financial means to do so. Under the Spay Neuter Assistance Programme (SNAP), the SPCA can offer assistance in three ways:

SNAP Voucher Scheme for individual

Every year, the SPCA offers a limited number of SNAP vouchers to help pet owners with financial concerns get their pet desexed at a reduced rate. The vouchers can be used for desexing surgery at veterinary clinics in the SNAP scheme, including SPCA centres (excluding the Animal Welfare Vehicle).

Various discount vouchers are available depending on the procedure:
Dog Spay $300 Cat Spay $200
Dog Neuter $200 Cat Neuter $100
